Statement pieces with a large quantity of stones may be subject to additional fees based on the additional time it takes to complete the appraisal.
An additional fee of $25 is charged for each piece of antique jewelry due to the additional amount of time it takes to research.
Appraisal certificate turnaround time is based on current order volume and the quantity of items to be appraised.
Appraisal Payment Policy
100% of the total is due at the time you drop off your jewelry to be appraised.
Appraisal Info
All appraisals are based on the current market value for the metal(s) and base value of the gemstone(s) used in each piece, as well as the estimated labor cost for each different method of manufacturing. There is an additional fee of $225 to have your jewelry sent to a lab facility that can approximate the value of gemstones based on cut, clarity and coloration and issue a Gemological Lab Appraisal Certificate.
